Any members of the public who would like to join the meeting please email the clerk for login details. 

If members of the public are present, there will be a period of question time at the beginning and at the end of the meeting.



The Chairman will adjourn the meeting to allow questions from members of the public to last no longer than 10 minutes at the start of the meeting.  After questions the Chairman will reconvene the Parish Council meeting.

  2. Declaration of Interest
    To receive declarations of interest.
  3. Minutes
    To approve the minutes from 18th June 2020, held via video conference.|
  4. Co-option of new councillor
    Adam Scott to sign Declaration of Office.
  5. Trees on the Bloor Homes site
    Update on the action taken by Bloor Homes following correspondence sent to them since the last PC meeting.
  6. Alderley Gate Resident’s Group
    Cllr VB to report back on discussions with the organiser of the Alderley Gate Resident’s Group
  7. Neighbourhood Watch Scheme
    Discussion around setting up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in the community.  This has come about due to concerns by residents about a recent issue on Giantswood Lane.
  8. Way-marked circular fitness route
    Cllr VB to raise the idea of a circular way-marked route with fitness equipment along it.  A report will be circulated prior to the meeting.
  9. Newsletter
    To discuss the contents of the Autumn newsletter.
  10. Business Plan
    To discuss any updates that have been received from the members.
  11. Highways
    Report on diesel spillage at Alderley Gate.
  12. Cheshire East
    To receive a report from any Ward Members present
  13. Planning Applications
    To consider the following applications and any other since the publication of the agenda:

    £245.74, Clerk Salary.
    £14.39 – Clerk’s expenses, Zoom subscription.
    Bank reconciliation – a councillor to sign this off.
  15. Clerk’s Report
    Report on the quotes received for the new noticeboard at Newsbank.
    Report on the quotes received for the painting of the bench and repair to the boundary signs.
